hi, thanks for the thought. but yet another BS has cropped up on DA. I have a photo that sells for $900. In the spirit of free art i responded to three of the artists who asked for barters. quality pro print mounted. armene in russia. triscuitbox in canada. and crooke from appalicia. armene sent a smaller unmounted photo, totally acceptable. triscuitbox keeps putting me off. crooke has stopped responding to my messages asking what's up with not sending. months now. crooke has been most uncommunicative and rude. I have the delivery receipt and messages. The US Government calls this mail fraud and usually gives you a free cage for doing so. crooke has been put on notice. so two of the three "barters" so far are un requited. so some of the artists are here to scam? by the by, DA considers the case on the censorship closed as i have removed the photo. assholes... i am one step closer to shutting down this site and trying red bubble instead. this experience is going to leave me feeling ripped off and if things don't go well for crooke, she will be in jail. hope she likes dealing with the feds. hope things are better for you.

Things OK here, just learning a few things in ZBrush with what ever spare time I get I find barter on here a bad thing. To many people are out to score freebies and do nothing in return. filming the entire route of a krewe on mardi gras is tough enough, but doing chunks of it backward into a mosh pit like crowd on acid was insane. betwix that and the editing, plus trying to fend off two local government entities (environment and code), the demands from Kathmandu to make a decision etc. Did make some new friends, including a photographer, Alexi, form Mother Russia who is an extremely talented sculptor. My dad, who is wishing death would visit every day, is the old guy playing mandolin on my YouTube Channel. he and his siblings were separated by the flu pandemic in childhood. today i got a message thru my channel from a kid who believes he is related thru the only surviving brother. Also am leaning away from returning to still photos and instead to improve my video gear and get more involved. I have two scripts written and may try to produce them instead. I expect my partner in Nepal to be disappointed since i had told him i would come and set up a studio there. when i tell him i want to stay with video i am curious if he wants to try something in that vein. enjoyed your poem, by the by, very nice. did i tell you a friend with a successful blog (a friend from High Times) has decided to give me a blog space on his site. Already have my Mardi Gras blog, a jazz/reggae fusion by Panorama with a brief email he hijacked and posted as a blog. It sounds interesting about the could-be relative, let us know how it pans out I hear you on trying to focus on one medium to improve it and it sounds like you had some good experience at the mardi gras! (I would love to see one, one day). I will check out that blog too when I am finished setting up comps (office in a mess atm with setting up another computer and transferring 5 years worth over to it).
